I'm blown away by yesterday's wedding at Cringletie House, Peebles. I love shooting here and this wedding was no exception! With a gorgeous couple and an amazing location, we had so many opportunities for photographs - I've ended up with way too many favourites! I have been absolutely blown away by the number of requests I’ve received this year to do school photography!! This has not just extended from previous schools I have been to photograph - but new schools, too!! These have included Kingsland, Halyrude, Eddleston, Broughton, Newlands and now Priorsford. I cannot thank all of the parents and teachers enough for their wonderful words and the opportunity they have given me here at Vanilla Moon Photography to capture their little ones at all important milestones in their lives. I love that because of recent circumstances that my business has adapted. More and more I am doing at home shoots and seeing how much more relaxed my clients and their wee ones can be in the comfort of their own home. The results are clear to see and still look like a studio shoot - but with minimal disruption. Meaning I can concentrate on the things that matter most….those beautiful blue eyes!!

The long awaited return of black 5 5025 at Strathspey Steam Railway. I was very privileged to be asked to cover this momentous occasion as 5025 returned to steam after 28 years. To say this was an emotional moment would be a massive understatement. The work involved by all is testament to what we now see today - what a huge achievement!
