The first wedding of 2020 was a total blast and filled with sunshine, winter showers and plenty of smiles - and a little bit of snow and sand for good measure! Emma and Anthony had traveled all the way from Derbyshire to be married at GG’s Yard in stunning Dumfries and Galloway, situated right next to the coast.
Emma’s smiles were beaming from the moment she had her makeup and hair done…
..and Anthony’s grin matched perfectly!
Lead down the aisle by her father, Emma was met by her handsome groom. Eager guests waited, ready for their I-do’s in a beautiful humanist ceremony conducted by Neil Lynch.
The couples sheer joy was etched on their faces - clear for everyone to see how in love and happy they are together.
The weather had been pretty typical for Scotland in February through the ceremony, but by the time the ink was drying on the marriage certificate, the sun had decided to come out to play. Not wanting to waste the opportunity of this gap in the weather, we literally high heeled it (cue the Jimmy Choos!) to the shore. Emma and Anthony specifically chose their special location because of the sea views, so photos of the happy couple on the beach were high on their priority list!
Time for a little bit of a shimmy with the girls, before retiring for the wedding breakfast…
But not before a quick opportunity for another couple of shots!
This little guy has to be by far the cutest photo-bomber EVER! He popped his head around the corner of giant floral love sign at just the right moment to catch a peek of the newly weds having a little kiss - Unbelievably cute 😍
With the day’s celebrations concluding with the cutting of the most amazing cake I have seen, it was then time to kick back to party into the evening…
