Naming Day Ceremony | Scottish Borders
It doesn't get much better than this! Four generations of family coming together from all over Scotland and Australia for a very special little lady's Naming Ceremony. The day was filled with laughter, tears and joy.
It was very hard not to get caught up in the emotion myself, and I must admit I had shed a tear or two by the end of the day! Everything was perfect - a gown that had been handed down through the generations, a beautiful song from Violet's uncle and heart-felt videos from loved ones who couldn't make the journey - even the Scottish weather was kind with the sun making it's welcomed appearance!
Violet's special day was held at the enchanting Dryburgh Abbey near Newton St.Boswells - a place in the hearts of mum and dad who were married in the gorgeous surroundings.
